Overview

Silent Morse is a haptic Morse code messenger. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is managed.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your display name, email address (if provided), and a unique identifier. This is stored in Firebase to operate your account.
• Messages: The content of messages you send is stored in Firebase to deliver them to recipients. Messages are retained to provide the service.
• Device token: We store your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to deliver push notifications for incoming messages.
• User-generated content reports: If you report another user, the report details (reporter, reported user, reason) are stored for moderation purposes.

Advertising

Silent Morse displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. On iOS, the app requests your permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any tracking occurs. You may decline this request and still use the app normally.

You can remove all ads permanently through an in-app purchase.

Third-Party Services

Silent Morse uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, cloud functions, push notifications. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob (Google LLC) — advertising. See above.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication is handled by these providers under their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be shared:

• With other users as necessary for messaging (e.g., your display name, messages).
• With service providers (Firebase, AdMob) who help us operate the app.
• When required by law or to protect our rights.

Data Retention and Deletion

Messages are stored in Firebase to provide the service. Conversations are automatically pruned to keep them lightweight — Silent Morse is not designed for long-term message storage. You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen, which removes your account data from our systems.

Children's Privacy

Silent Morse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us or delete your account through the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
